While Giga Girl is being release tested, I’ve had some time to think about the next game. There were a couple of alternatives to choose from of which I ended up with this idea of a puzzle-/adventure-platformer. Here’s the vision in short:

Story
A child and her dog fall into a cavern only to find themselves underground in a strange hundred years old abandoned city.

Setting
Underground city and caverns. The protagonists must find a way to exit the decommissioned steampunk-ish city.

Gameplay
Platformer with both physics-based and adventure game puzzles, spiced up with some dialogue. The player controls both protagonists, one at a time. The kid can carry stuff, use levers etc. The dog can jump far, swim and squeeze through small openings.

Art style
Think of the Hanna-Barbera cartoons, Powerpuff Girls, maybe even Gravity Falls. Here are some trees to give you some idea of what to expect:
